The Brand. BARONE was launched in the 1965 and is still one of South Africa’s favourite snacks for the fully active individual with a demanding schedule. BARONE is made with the goodness of smooth caramel, malt-infused nougat and real, thick milk chocolate. The brand is well associated with providing consumers energy for their 25 Hour day and is a great partner for active people, to support their higher energy needs.

The Process: BARONE is one of South Africa’s most loved brands and it was an honour for our team to work on its evolution. Our creative team looked to modernise the brand using a simplified stronger typeface, while still maintaining the previous brand structure. We developed the CI guidelines to show the construction of the new brand, how it works on packaging, communication and photographic style.
